Broadcaster Robin Elliott is back on our TV screens this evening (26th January) with a brand new series of his entertainment chat show – Robin Elliott Tonight!
Joining Robin on the first episode of the popular series on NVTV will be Grammy-nominated Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame inductee Beth Nielsen Chapman. Beth will talking about her new album ‘Crazy Town’, writing for legends like Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings and her upcoming shows at Derry’s Luminare Festival & Theatre At The Mill, Newtownabbey on 4th & 5th February. During the interview Beth also reveals how her good friend Olivia Newton John helped her through her own cancer journey.
Also on the show, Caroline Curran talks about bringing her much loved character Maggie Muff back to the stage one last time in ‘Maggie – Yer Ma’, which runs at The Mac, Belfast until 12th February. Malcolm McDowell and Downtown Radio legend Trevor Campbell (aka BIG T) drop by with all the details for this this year’s NI Country Music Awards taking place at Tullyglass Hotel in Ballymena on 7th February.
Playwright Martin Lynch & actor Marty Maguire also join the line up to talk about the 20th Anniversary Tour of ‘History Of The Troubles Accordin to My Da’ and there is music from Derek Ryan.
